Kitchen Style
It seems obvious but the first thing is to discover what style you require for example a shaker traditional style such as our Shaker styles or a modern style such as high gloss lacquered doors.
This has also got to suit your own personal taste and also suit your home. Take a look at the available styles.

The Kitchen Colour
We all have our favourite colours, but would you want a whole kitchen in this colour, pink might be a great colour but for all the kitchen doors? Maybe your favourite colour can be introduced in an accent colour such as a glass splashback behind your cooker? This could be relatively inexpensive and as such could be changed a few years down the line if you changes your mind or changed your homes decoration.
Kitchen Layout
One of the most problematic issues with a new kitchen can be the layout. That awkward corner, a soil-pipe in the way, a small room. This is where a professional designer can help out. By all means get two or three designs done or go by recommendation as this is always best. Get to know your designer and get them to know you and your requirements. Don't be rushed, this is where mistakes are usually made by a pushy salesperson wanting to get a signature on their order form so they can get their commission. Think about solutions to you layout problems and use the designers knowledge. Take a look at our about us page as to what we can do for you.
Practical Storage Solutions
Again there are many solutions to many problem areas in your kitchen. Please take a look at the video opposite it shows just some of the solutions available in a modern kitchen. Think about practical problems you might have personally, maybe struggling to bend down, or not wanting to get on your hands and knees getting into a corner cupboard.
Kitchen Appliances
The appliances in your kitchen also require some thought, along with practical solutions such as working heights to get into an oven. For example advice on Induction hobs which are very safe with young children or the elderly person, self cleaning pyrolytic ovens, combination oven if your life always seems like a mission. Ask advice on this youd be surprised of the solutions out there.
The Final Design
All the items and more are thoroughly discussed and these ideas are then translated into a cutting edge design which can be fine tuned with yourself and then turned into outstanding, high performance fitted kitchen ranges that last for years. We spend many hours researching the current colours, styles and finishes to ensure Kitchen Visions customers always get a timeless kitchen that will perform for many years.
